I recorded this workshop last month when our school district held its first in-district professional development conferences.  I think the conference was very successful.  I hope we do this again next year.

This workshop was called “Using Skype in the Classroom.”  It was presented by Jason Weaver, a middle school social studies teacher and eMINTS trainer in the Joplin School district.

There was time for teachers to work during the workshop, which I edited out.

Confessions of a Driving Instructor .  I interviewed him late one night after an evening cookout and campfire sing-along at the annual Leader U conference.  He is an believes in doing what is right for students and giving teachers a voice in the political decision-making that shapes public education.  He leads by listening and keeps MSTA on the right path toward the future of education in the 21st century.

Podcast #1 Interview about Conservation Education

This is my first podcast. It is not perfect and has some sound difficulties, but I more that ready to be edited. This podcast is an interview I had with Chris Pistole at the Wildcat Glades Audobon and Conservation Center

. I had just finished attending a wonderful two-day workshop at the center.
