In terms of your own professional development, what did you gain from the session?

“Telling stories connects the listener to someone, somewhere, or something far away.”
Learning a second language not only makes you more job marketable, but it also helps you learn about different cultures and appreciate diversity.
I love the concrete connection to other countries by send Jose the Bear.
This presentation gave compelling, concrete reasons to teach global awareness

How do I connect with someone in another country to start a project?
How do you manage the time differences with classes in far different time zones?

How will you apply the learning to your professional situation? Beginning of the End movie
I will definitely share about my trip to Alaska this summer.
I would like to find a class in another country to trade a stuffed bulldog with. I think Global Schoolhouse, Think.com, or Keypals might be good places to start looking.
