Interactive whiteboard with Wii remote and IR pen

This looks like a great idea! This guy’s videos are some of the most hottest on YouTube right now. Johnny Lee demonstrated how he created an interactive, multi-touch whiteboard system with a couple homemade infrared pens and a Wii remote. Watch out Smartboard, ’cause Johnny Lee’s coming to town!
I’m working on making my own IR light pen. It’s not easy. Electronics and soldering wires is a new for me, so I may not succeed. However, it looks easy enough to try. My backup plan is to order an IR penlight from LightIO for $10.90US including shipping. MaxMax.com also has some for $9.95US +shipping and handling. I’ll let you know how it ends up. Let me know if you have tried this or have ideas.
